It's more of a dye. Very novel your packaging although somewhat unfunctional sponge shaped♥. I get the impression that if you don't cover the dye pad well, this will dry and you will no longer be able to use the product. The applicator sponge must be crushed hard on the dye to obtain product. It has a very natural finish
